All Hallows’ Eve!

Happy Halloween everyone!

Make some spooky treats today for your little ones, from no-bake recipes to gorgeous layer cakes, check out my personal favourite scary puddings. So creative with some simple ideas.

I have to say I am most impressed with Dracula’as Dentures, as these require little baking skills, just some creativity! How much fun are they, seriously.

Dracula’s Dentures

Ingredients:

1 package refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough, or your favourite soft store bought cookies
1/2 cup prepared vanilla frosting, tinted red
miniature marshmallows
slivered almonds

Instructions:
Prepare cookies as directed on package or. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire rack to cool completely. Then simply cut each cookie in half. This is where the store bought cookies are trickier, as they tend to crumble.

Frost the bottoms of all cookie halves with frosting. Place 6 marshmallow teeth around curved perimeter of half the cookies. For additional support, an additional marshmallow can be placed behind the teeth. Top with remaining 24 halves.  Insert two almond slivers in between teeth for fangs. If fangs do not adhere, dip tips into frosting.

Voila! Dracula’s Dentures. Bite in for a tasty marshmellowy treat!
